According to sources, the three--Mong Braching Marma, Badal Marma and Mou Ching Marma--were working on the jail premises at about 3:00pm. Suddenly, they fled the scene, dodging the jail authorities and other prisoners.

Acting Jailor Abul Kalam Azad told journalists that Braching Marma and Badal Marma were jailed in an arms case while Ching Marma was jailed under women and Children Repression Prevention Act.
