1. In the sports page, football particularly the international football news is being overemphasised, whereas cricket deserves (even) more attention and space.

2. A small section on 'learning basic English' and 'basic computing' may be considered. This will attract more young readers. I would like to mention here that weekly technology page in The Daily Star is not very well managed and its contents are also not very pertinent to the common people.

3. Some basic information on business (share market, banking, budget, corporate governance) may be incorporated on a regular basis in the business page.
