Kakordia, Achmita win big


Kakordia Terodal High School and Achmita George Institute recorded the biggest victories on the second day of the banglalink tiger trophy National School Football Cham-pionship yesterday.

Kakordia brushed aside Bulachand High School 8-0 at the Osmani Stadium in Sylhet while Ali Amzad High School defeated Habiganj High School 4-1 in another match at the same venue.

At the Mymensingh Stadium, the boys from Achmita drubbed Motijheel Government Boys High School 8-0 but the other match between Nazrul Academy and Gouradhar BL High School was suspended after both the teams failed to turn up.

Mominpur Primary School held Tarali High School to a goalless draw while Pilot High School received walkover from Badshah Faisal Institute in Meherpur. There was also a walkover in Cox's Bazar as Lami Government High School were absent for a game against Biddyut Unnayan Board High School.

Kashira High School edged Peerganj Pilot High School 1-0 in the day's lone match at the Thakurgaon Stadium.

Our Correspondent adds: Russell slotted a hattrick as Barguna Collegiate High School crushed Labukhali High School 5-0 at the Patuakhali Stadium.

Kathalia Pilot High School won by the same margin with Nazrul scoring the second treble of the day against Kashipur High School.

Meanwhile, the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF0 has expelled three schools from the competition as they did not turn up for the opening day's games on Friday.

The schools are Abdul Hamid High School of Chittagong, Kakarda MK Secondary School of Barisal and Shaheed Ramijuddin Cantonment School and College of Dhaka.

The BFF has also decided to recommend to the Education Ministry to take action against all the schools to forfeit their matches.
