14 phensidyl bottles recovered, doctor held

Prominent physician Dr ATM Nurul Kabir was arrested by DB police on Thursday night from his house at Sonadanga area. DB police recovered 14 bottles of Indian phensidyl from his possession. Police said the physician deals in phensidyl under the cover of medical profession. In another drive, on the same night Khulna police arrested notorious criminal Shahin Molla alias Kashai Shahin from Tootpara Moirkhal area. Police recovered three grams of heroin from his possession. Police said Kashai Shahin is an accused in four criminal cases of Khulna and Sonadanga Police Stations.
