Imran leads from front


Tushar Imran led from the front with a brilliant hundred as Bangladesh A made a bright start to the opening four-day match against Zimbabwe A at the Mutare Sports Club yesterday.

The dashing right-hander, who has played four Tests and 35 ODIs, scored 128 runs off 176 balls to guide his side to an impressive first innings total of 365 for eight in 90 overs.

Promising opener Nazmus Sadat was another notable scorer with a 110-ball 62 after the second string Bangladesh side decided to bat. Mehrab Hossain Jr. contributed 46 and Sakib Al Hasan added 24 runs.
