Bodies of detainees repatriated to S Arabia, Yemen

Bodies of three detainees who committed suicide at detention center in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba have been repatriated to Saudi Arabia and Yemen, the Pentagon said Friday.The bodies of Mani Shaman Turki al-Habardi al-Utaybi and Yassar Talal al-Zahrani arrived earlier Friday in Saudi Arabia, said Lieutenant Commander Jeff Gordon. The body of Ali Abdullah Ahmed was flown Thursday to Yemen, a lawyer for his family said. "The Department of Defense announced today that it repatriated remains of three detainees who died of apparent suicides June 10, 2006 from Guantanamo Bay, Cuba to Saudi Arabia and Yemen," the Pentagon said in a statement.
