Alamgir Kabir now in charge of women affairs ministry

State Minister for Women and Children Affairs Alamgir Kabir has been given the charge of the ministry following the death of minister Khurshid Jahan Haque."The prime minister gave Alamgir Kabir the charge of the women and children affairs ministry as per Rule 3 of the Rules of Business 1996," said a Cabinet Division notification yesterday. Women and Children Affairs Minister Khurshid Jahan Haque died at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Dhaka on June 14. Earlier on May 16, state minister Alamgir Kabir was transferred to the ministry from the housing and public works ministry.
