Along with them, three other JMB Majlish-e-Shura members, Ataur Rahman Sunny, Abdul Awal and Khaled Saifullah, were also produced before the court on completion of their four-day remand in a sedition case filed with Kotwali Police Station. In his forwarding report, the investigation officer (IO) of the sedition case mentioned that the arrestees gave important information about the printing of seditious leaflets and books on jihad. So they need to be kept confined in jail until the investigation completes, the IO added. When the magistrate asked the accused in sedition case whether they would appoint any lawyer or submit any bail petition as the IO did not pray for remand, Bangla Bhai told the court that they would not submit any bail petition to the ''Worldly Court.'' Bangla Bhai also prayed to the magistrate for extension of their remand, as he said they were tired of the law enforcement agencies' people. In the forwarding report of the August 17 blast case, DB Inspector Hasan Ali, also the investigation officer (IO) of the case mentioned that the JMB men were directly involved in the August 17 serial bomb blasts across the country.
