Monju, Shahid JP chairman, secy general
Anwar Hossain Monju and Sheikh Shahidul Islam were elected chairman and secretary general of the central working committee of Jatiya Party (JP) on June 10 for the year of 2006-08, says a press release.The central presidium members of the newly formed committee are--Abdur Rahim, Begum Kamrunnahar Jafar, Begum Tasmima Hossein, A K Samsul Huda, Shah Rafiqul Bari Chowdhury, Azam Khan, Col (Retd) Dr Abdul Latif Mallik, Habibur Rahman Hoby, Mafizul Haq Bebu and Amena Bari. Sadeq Siddique was elected additional secretary general. Vice Chairmen of the committee are-- Abu Syed Khan, Amir Hossien, Sheikh Mohammad Jainal Abedin, Amanat Hossain Amanat, Badruddoza Ahmed Suja, Ejaj Ahmed Mukta, Syed Akil Ahmed, Samsul Alam Master, Hossain Ali Sarder, Ali Ahmmad Khan Milu and Nurul Haque 'Bombard'. Besides, six members have been elected as joint secretaries general and six as organising secretaries.
