Avoid wastage

I would like to draw the kind attention of my Muslim brothers to a touchy matter. The Almighty Allah has given me the opportunity to say prayers five times in the holy mosques of Bangladesh for the last 35 years. But I had some sad experience about wastage of electricity in the mosques. The devotees insist on keeping all the fans and lights on even when these are not necessary. If the Imams and Muazzins of the mosques become more alert and tell the devotees that wastage of anything is not permitted by our religion, matters will improve appreciably.
