At a meeting at the party's head office, they also urged the government for immediate implementation of the tripartite agreement to meet demands of workers in garment sector and for the approval of the demands of teachers' community.

For a free and fair election they also demanded total reform in the election system.

Nirmal Sen chaired the meeting while Ruhin Hossain Prince of Communist Party of Bangladesh, Nurul Hasan of Workers' Party, Abu Hamed Shahabuddin of Shamyabadi Dal, Jakir Hossain of Gonotantrik Majdur Party, Jalal Sardar of Shamajbadi Dal also spoke at the meeting.
