Divisional Special Judge Malik Abdullah Al-Amin fixed August 10 for hearing of two cases and August 16 for two other cases.

Ershad was present at the court during the adjournment. Additional police were deployed on the court premises to avoid any untoward incident.

All the cases were filed with Ramna Police Station on July 27 in 1992. It was alleged that Ershad, while in power, had paid Tk 743,416 on income tax for six years and later he withdrew Tk 276,324 on income tax without submitting any documents in favour of his action.
