LEVI'S Bangladesh is the corporate sponsor of the event. As part of the programme, a press conference was held at a local hotel on June 27, chaired by Dr. Meshquat Uddin, dean of School of Business, North South University.

Executive Director of NIFD Sharmeen Hassan Tithi, Head of Marketing of Media Eight Communications Salman Haider, Executive Director of LEVI's Bangaldesh Mushfiq M Hassan and President of NSUSSC Sayed G Dastagir were also present in the press conference.

"NSU always encourages the students for extra curricular activities and being an important club, NSUSSC is organising a wonderful event. We are very much thankful to the facilitator and organiser, specially to LEVI's for being the sponsor," Dr Meshquat said.

"Considering the event as a pilot project, we will be organising national level inter-university fashion idol contest at the end of this year" mentioned Salman from Media Eight Communications.

Sharmeen Hassan declared the jury board for the final round of NSU Fashion Idol. They are Zulfiqar Ahmed, CEO & MD, Unitrend Limited, Adil Hossain Noble, model, Dr Meshquat Uddin, dean of Business School, NSU, Maheen Khan, MD, Mayasir & Sharmeen Hassan, Executive Director, NIFD.

Sharmeen also confirmed that NSU Fashion Idols would get one-year free diploma course from NIFD on Fashion Designing. They will also receive Tk 50,000 LEVI's gift voucher, mentioned LEVI's Executive Director Mushfiq Hassan.
