B Chy hints at forming unity with 14-party


Bikalpa Dhara Bangladesh (BDB) President AQM Badruddoza Chowdhury yesterday said they might form programme-based unity with Awami League-led 14-party coalition.

"Programme-based unity may be made with 14-party coalition if leaders of 14 party agree to take stern measures against corruption from the first day of new government and settle all corruption-related cases by one year," said Badruddoza while addressing a rally at Patnitala Upazila in Nawgaon.

He also called for taking action against the syndicate responsible for price hike of essentials including fuel and fertilisers.

BDB Secretary General Major (Retd) Abdul Mannan, Joint Secretary Firoj M Hasan, Organising Secretary Mahi B Chowdhury and local BDB leaders also addressed.
