B Chy urges opposition to unite against ruling alliance

President of Bikalpa Dhara Bangladesh (BDB) AQM Badruddoza Chowdhury yesterday urged the opposition parties to be united under a common platform with a view to defeating the BNP-Jamaat alliance in the next election."BNP-Jamaat coalition has totally failed to run the country. To defeat the alliance, it is imperative for the opposition parties to forge a unity over anti-government movement," he said while exchanging views with a delegation of the party's United Kingdom unit in the city. He also alleged that the prime minister's son have amassed huge wealth through corruption. Ahiduddin, convener of the UK unit of BDB, Imran Haider Chowdhury, Manzir Ali and Ashiq Chowdhury were present at the meeting held at the KC Memorial Clinic in the city.
