Stolen car recovered using AVLS
Just after two weeks of official launching of the BDCOM Automatic Vehicle Location System (AVLS), it has achieved the first success in stolen vehicle recovery, says a press release.A car with onboard AVLS GLP was stolen from Dhanmondi on Friday night. After the car owner informed the AVLS control room, its members identified the location of the car using the system and recovered it from Jamalpur-Modhupur Road with the help of law enforcement agencies. However, the burglars managed to escape.
