B Chowdhury to contest from Dhaka-7

Bikalpa Dhara Bangladesh (BDB) President Badruddoza Chowdhury and Secretary General Abdul Mannan will contest the next parliamentary election from Dhaka-7 and Dhaka-10 constituencies respectively, Organising Secretary Mahi B Chowdhury told a workers' conference in the city yesterday.Mahi said the party will also contest in Dhaka-4 but it is yet to nominate a candidate for this constituency. Dhaka city Mayor Sadek Hossain Khoka is the present lawmaker of Dhaka-7, comprising Kotwali and Sutrapur thanas. Addressing the leaders and workers of BDB's labour front, Mahi B Chowdhury said they are working to form a united front to oust the present 'tyrant' rulers to install a pro-people government and urged the activists to help them make this endeavour a success.
