Valuables worth Tk 2.26 lakh robbed

A group of criminals robbed valuables worth Tk 2.26 lakh from a house at Mirpur in the city yesterday. The miscreants, eight to ten in number, cut the balcony grills to enter the house at around 3:00pm. They took the key of the Almirah holding the residents at gunpoint and robbed 11 tola gold ornaments and Tk 76 thousands cash, police said.
