Tk 10,000 reward for catching robber

Chairperson of Chhengarchar Municipality Amena Begum of Matlab upazila in Chandpur yesterday said she would award Tk 10,000 to anyone who manages to catch a robber.At least six robberies took place within the municipality limits last month. She also alerted people, through loud speakers, to keep vigil as the frequency of robbery has increased in the new municipality of nine wards. She urged the people to form a 10-member 'resistance committee' and stand against the deteriorating law and order situation.
