Sandipan Chatterjee of Kolkata and Ashim Roy of Tripura were sharing the lead in the Class VI to XI group of the 8th Standard Chartered School Chess Tournament after the end of the fifth round at the federation hall-room yesterday.Sandipa beat Satyajit Kunda and Ashim won his board against Babul to ensure maximum five points. Rezaul Islam Babu, Saimon Siddiqur Rahman, Satyajit, Aniruddah Majumder, Mahfuzur Rahman, Kinjal Basu, S.M. Sharon, Sharif Hossain and Nazmus Shakib followed the leaders with four points each. Ekramul Haque Siam took a solo lead in the class KG to V group competition with maximum five points while Sayantan Das and Saayan Majumder of Kolkata shared the second place with 4.5 points each.
