It is being held as part of a series of programmes organised jointly by policy think-tank Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD), Prothom Alo, The Daily Star and Channel i.

Eminent academics and professionals, development and cultural activists, public representatives, political leaders and civil society representatives of the district are expected to speak at the dialogue beginning at 9:30am.

Members of the Nagorik Committee 2006 who are preparing a "Vision Paper" for the country will also be present to receive public feedback.

The first one was held in Mymensingh on April 29.
