Body in Handcuffs
Relatives identify him as Mohsin, not Liton

Relatives of a man who was found dead with his hands handcuffed identified him as Mohammad Mohsin, 25, an electrician, yesterday.

The police recovered the decomposed body of Mohsin from a ditch at Demra on Thursday. They believed that the victim is Mohammad Liton, 35, an operator of knitting factory at Jamgora in Savar, as an identity card inscribed with that name was found in his pocket.

But the factory authorities on Thursday night informed the police that Liton is still alive.

Liton's family told the police yesterday that some kidnappers abducted Liton on July 22 and took away his identity card.

The victim, Mohsin, who lived at Bank Colony in Savar, had been missing since July 30, said his family members who identified the body at the Sir Salimullah Medical College morgue.
