Sakhipur Abahan and Music School jointly organised the function at the upazila auditorium, where 12 artistes of Bangladesh Betar (radio) and Television performed songs and dances with the theme of rain.

Founder president of Sakhipur Abahan, Professor Alim Mahmud presided over the function while Sakhipur Upazila nirbahi officer (UNO) Ahmadul Haque attended the function as chief guest.

Artistes MA Hashem, Suresh Biswas, Karim Baul, Asmani, Rakhi and others presented Rabindra, Nazrul, and contemporary songs. Nupur, Maya and Swarna staged dances at the event.

The function was well attended by students of different schools and colleges in Sakhipur.
