Chess players leave for KL

Five chess players left Dhaka yesterday to take part in the IGM third Dato Arther Tan Malaysian Open Championship to be held in Kuala Lumpur over August 21-27.The players are Grand Masters Niaz Murshed and Ziaur Rahman, FM Mehdi Hasan Parag, IWM Rani Hamid and Masuda Begum. On the other hand, International Master Enamul Hossain Rajib will leave Dhaka on Wednesday for Yemen to take part in the Fifth President Ali Abdullah Saleh International Open Championship to be held in Aden over August 23-29.
