JCD leader shot dead in city

Unknown criminals shot a Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) leader dead and critically injured another at Government Suhrawardy College in the city early today.The dead Murad Hossain Sentu was the acting president of the Government Suhrawardy College JCD unit. Injured Masum was hit in the head by a bullet. The criminals sprayed Sentu and Masum with bullets around 12:30am today in front of the collage main gate as they were painting graffiti on a wall. Sentu and Masum were rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where doctors declared Sentu dead. Masum was in critical condition, doctors said.
