Bangladesh Army beat Bangladesh Rifles 76-58 points in the opening match of the Office Basketball League at the Dhanmondi Basketball gymnasium yesterday.The winners led the first half was 35-28. Rafique caged 19 points, Tozammel 11 and Ataur 10 for the Army while Manzil scored 22 and Siraj 12 for BDR. Ten teams, split into two groups, are taking part in the league. Group A: Bangladesh Navy, Bangladesh Army, Bangladesh Rifles, AK & Co Ltd and Clair (Dhaka). Group B: Toras Style Ltd, Imperial Fashions, Bangladesh Police, Global Beverage Co Ltd. and SBSL.
