England will ignore racist chants

England skipper John Terry insists the team will ignore any racist chanting when Steve McClaren's men face Macedonia in a Euro 2008 qualifier on Wednesday. The Macedonian FA was fined by UEFA after England's black players were verbally abused during a Euro 2004 qualifier in September 2003. Terry, who played in that 2-1 win in Skopje three years ago, said: "It's a hostile place to go. "It was a little bit unpleasant there last time, but we'll shut that out. "We have got half and half in our squad, half the squad are black and half the squad are white and we know have the full support of all the England fans and that's all that matters going into a game like that."
