Bangladesh face Qatar today

Bangladesh take on Qatar in today's 2007 Asian Cup qualifying Group F match in Doha with the hosts looking to seal a place in the finals.

The fourth round match will kick off in the Qatar capital at Bangladesh time 9.30pm.

Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates and defending champions Japan also eye the same and join Australia and co-hosts Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam in next year's final rounds while South Korea, Iraq, China and Oman could all edge closer to qualification.

Group leaders Qatar, who have a perfect record, will miss goalkeeper Abdulaziz Ali, who was sent off during their 4-1 away win against Bangladesh in Chittagong last month but for an under prepared Bangladesh, still without a point after three losses, they could prove too strong.

Bangladesh, however, made the trip with their full squad after missing some young guns for the South Asian Games in the previous game.

Bangladesh have lost 5-0 in Uzbekistan and 1-0 at home to Hong Kong and play the latter away in their last qualifier in mid November.
