Planning confce of NILG held

Annual Planning Conference of the National Institute of Local Government (NILG) was held in the city yesterday with the participation of donor agencies, NGO professionals and representatives of Dhaka City Corporation and municipalities.Dr Kamal Siddique inaugurated the conference while Secretary to LGRD ministry SM Zahirul Islam chaired the opening session. Director General of NILG Salahuddin Ahmed chaired the academic session of the conference where Director (Training) of NILG Jamshed Ahmed and Fariduddin Ahmed presented two research papers. The training wing of NILG, has a plan to launch seven research projects next year.
