Road to democracy

Bangladesh is a "democracy". Regrettably, our two main political parties are anything but democratic. How can our country perform as a normal democracy if the participants who are supposed to make it happen are not democratic themselves? In this modern world, one cannot assume leadership just by virtue of his/her birth, it is something one has to earn.
