Oitijhya bookfestival in eight district towns
A fifteen-day book festival organised by Oitijhya is on simultaneously at 8 different locations -- Chittagong, Sylhet, Rajshahi, Khulna, Sunamganj, Habiganj, Narayanganj and Cox's Bazaar between September 1 to September 15. Books of different genres; from Classics, to popular fiction, to poetry to collections of essays will be available at the festival, says a press release. Complete works of Rabindranath Tagore, Sarat Chandra Chatyopadhay, Manik Bandopadhyay, Bibhutibhushan Bandopadhyay and Jibonanando Das and books by poet Shamsur Rahman, Al Mahmud, Sirajul Islam Chowdhury, Badruddin Umar, Kabir Chowdhury, Shoukat Ali, Hasan Azizul Haque, Selina Hossain and Humayun Ahmed will be available there. The festival will showcase books by young and promising writers as well.
