Polybags, current nets worth Tk 15 cr seized

Police seized a truck loaded with banned polybags and current nets worth Tk 15 crore at Savar bus stand on Thursday.Acting on a tip-off, the police intercepted the Pabna-bound truck coming from Imamganj of the capital city and seized 54 sacks of polythene bags and current nets. Truck driver Motin Mia was arrested and a case was filed in this connection.
