Padatik Nattya Sangsad holds street theatre festival

Padatik Nattya Sangsad arranged a three-day street theatre festival, starting from 13th September. Titled Jago Bahe Konothe Shobay, the festival was held at the Central Shaheed Minar to celebrate the fourth death anniversary of Abu Muhammad Murtaish Kochi, one of the founding members of the organisation.Several theatre troupes including Padatik Nattya Sangshad, Udichi, Prachyo Nat, Green Theatre, Natya Teertha and others staged plays at the event. The programme featured songs and poetry recitals besides plays and started everyday at 5:00pm. Five plays -- Chor by Padatik Nattya Sangshad, Laali by Aboyob, Khepa Paglar Pyachal by Theatre Art Unit, Shangbad Shironam by Natya Teertha and Rupshi by Shattik Natya Sampraday -- were staged yesterday. The festival ended yesterday.
