No Khaleda, no Hasina from Oct 10

Prime Minister Khaleda Zia and the Leader of the Opposition Sheikh Hasina will be out of the country from October 10. Awami League (AL) General Secretary Abdul Jalil will be out of the country as well from October 11. Khaleda Zia, also BNP Chairperson, will fly for Saudi Arabia on October 10 and she is likely to perform Umrah on October 12. Sources said the PM might stay there for about 10 days. On the other hand, Sheikh Hasina, the AL president, will be headed for USA on October 11 to visit her son, daughter and daughter-in-law. Hasina is expected to come home before the Eid-ul-Fitr, AL General Secretary Abdul Jalil said while talking to The Daily Star yesterday at his Mercantile Bank office. Jalil is supposed to fly for Singapore on October 11 for a medical check up. He will stay there for three days.
