Inter Milan owner Massimo Moratti has denied allegations that the club hired private investigators to spy on disgraced referee Massimo De Sanctis.De Sanctis was given a four-match ban by the Italian football federation (FIGC) for his part in the Serie A match-fixing scandal and has since accused Inter of tailing him in 2002. "I'm not in the least bit worried," Moratti was quoted as saying by Gazzetta dello Sport on Wednesday. "I can confirm that I never sent anybody to follow anyone." De Sanctis claims Inter had him followed and tapped his phone in 2002. According to Italian newspaper reports, Inter kept tabs on De Sanctis as they were suspicious of his relationship with former Juventus general manager Luciano Moggi, the central figure in the match-fixing scandal who is now serving a five-year suspension from sport.
