Military takeover in Thailand

In Thailand, military intervention in politics is not something new. It has been happening for a long time. A strong democratic institution is not available in Thailand. So it provides an opportunity for the army to grab power. There is absence of strong political parties which makes democracy an untenable proposition in the country.
