RU staffs demand job regularisation

Controversially recruited 546 Class III and IV employees of Rajshahi University (RU) yesterday again asked the vice-chancellor to regularise their appointment. Campus sources said leaders of the employees met with VC Prof Altaf Hossain at the office at his residence where a selection board was having a meeting on the appointment of some section officers. Earlier, the employees gave ultimatum to the university authorities that they will resist any recruitment without regularisation of their appointment.
