4 MSC hockey players fined

The Senior Division Hockey League Committee fined four Mohammedan Sporting Club players for their violent conduct in the final of the Club Cup tournament against Abahani on Thursday.The decision was taken at an emergency meeting of the league committee yesterday after receiving the reports of the umpires and disciplinary committee. Mohammedan player Shamim Reza was fined Tk 10,000 and suspended for four matches while three others -- Yamin Hossain, Mamunur Rahman and Sharafat Miah -- were all fined Tk 5,000 each and received a caution. The players have been asked to deposit the money to the federation before their next club match in the ongoing Premier Division Hockey League.
