Sabuj Kanon High School team of Sirajganj got the first position while Rangpur Cantonment Public School secured the second place.

Additional Deputy Commissioner (Education) of the district distributed awards among the winners in the concluding ceremony, which was presided over by President of Bangladesh Debate Federation (BDF) Tasin Uddin Ahmed.

Hasibur Rahman Mukul, executive director of Management and Resource Development Initiative (MRDI), was present as special guest.

Principal of Carmichael College Prof Nur-un-Nabi Khan inaugurated the debate competition organised by BDF in association with USAID, Academy for

Educational Development (AED) and MRDI.

A total of 17 schools of Rajshahi division participated in the competition.
