Prof Yunus returns tomorrow

Nobel Peace Prize winner Prof Muhammad Yunus will return home tomorrow, concluding his visit to Seoul, Beijing and Tokyo, says a press release of Grameen Bank.Prof Yunus, founder of the Grameen Bank, went to South Korea to receive the Seoul Peace Prize. In Beijing, he inaugurated an international seminar on microcredit. He also met the Chinese foreign minister and deputy governor of the Central Bank with a view to expanding microcredit facilities in China. Peking University has awarded honorary doctorate degree to Prof Yunus. In Tokyo and Hiroshima, Prof Yunus joined the board meeting of UN Foundation. He also met Bangladeshi expatriates in Beijing and Tokyo.
