MSC football camp from today

Mohammedan Sporting Club, who are looking forward to organise an international club cup football tournament later this month in spite of the ongoing political unrest in the country, have requested their footballers to join the preparation camp from today.The booters have been told to report to coach Shafiqul Islam Manik at 3pm at the club tent. Three teams each from India and Bangladesh are expected to take part in the competition, which has already got the nod from the Bangladesh Football Federation. Kolkata giants East Bengal, Mohun Bagan, Mohammedan and Eveready have been invited but only three teams across from the border will join three local sides including hosts Mohammedan. The nine-day meet, proposed to begin on November 26, will be held at the Bangabandhu National Stadium.
