Chef beheaded in city

Unidentified criminals yesterday beheaded a youth and dumped the head in a canal and the body on a sand field at West Rampura in the city. The deceased was identified as Mohammad Shaheen, 25, a chef with a decorator company in Malibagh area. Manju Begum, Shaheen's mother, said he went missing after he went out home for work on November 11 and did not return home since then. She identified her son's body at the Khilgaon Police Station when the police brought the body to the police station. Police recovered the body at 1:00pm yesterday.
