The dead are Nizam Uddin,30, a party rival and Afsar Ali Shikder,50, a fish trader.

Police and local people said party rivals attacked Nizam Uddin in a tea stall at Raghurampur Bazaar Thursday night. Attackers chopped him by sharp weapons in the crowded area and left the place ensuring his death.
