Sunrise clinch soccer trophy in India


Dhaka first division football side Sunrise Krira Chakra lifted the Bodoland Martyrs Gold Cup defeating BSF (Border Security Force) of India in the tiebreakers on Tuesday.

The regulation period of the final in Kokrajhar, Assam ended in a 1-1 draw in front of a 30,000-strong crowd.

The local side led most of the match 1-0 through a seventh minute strike but Topu's 81-minute equaliser took the match into the shootout.

Rajib of Sunrise was adjudged man-of-the-final.
