Non-govt teachers demand salary, bonus
National Front of Teachers and Employees (NFTE) in a statement yesterday urged the government to disburse the fund for the salary and festival bonus of non-government high school and college teachers and employees before December 24 so that they get the money before Eid-ul-Azha. In a statement NFTE Chief Coordinator Principal Kazi Faruque said if the fund were not disbursed before the date, they would not get it before Eid-ul-Azha. NFTE would launch agitation programmes if teachers and employees are denied of their current month's salary and festival bonus before Eid-ul-Azha, Faruque added.
