3 killed in Savar road crash

Three unidentified passengers were killed and 35 others injured as a bus crashed into a tree at Dhamrai yesterday.Police and witnesses said the accident took place near Sutipara bus stand when the driver of the Jhenidah-bound bus from Gabtali in Dhaka tried to overtake another bus at about 12:30pm, leaving three passengers dead on the spot. The injured were admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital and different local clinics. Of them, condition of 10 was stated to be critical.
