ASA cuts service charges

Non-government development organisation ASA has reduced its service charges by 2 percent-2.50 percent with effect from January 1, 2007. ASA officials announced the decision at a press briefing here yesterday. ASA's existing service charges is now 15 percent on microcredit for women. Bogra District Manager Anowar Hossain said ASA has also embarked on programmes such as providing free treatment facilities for its members.
