Biman staff sacked for carrying forex illegally

Biman Bangladesh authorities yesterday sacked Iqbal Ahmed Sabbir, flight steward of Biman Bangladesh Airlines in charge of carrying foreign currency illegally, Biman sources said.Management of Biman has sacked him, as he was caught red handed, said the Public Relation (PR) department of Biman. Customs officials on Thursday held Iqbal and seized local and Saudi currencies worth around Tk 44.8 lakh from him at Zia International Airport.
