Shawkat, Sabuj elected JPC president, secy

Shawkat Mahmud and Kamal Uddin Sabuj have been elected president and general secretary of the Jatiya Press Club (JPC) respectively.The biennial election to the executive committee of the club was held on Friday. Other office-bearers are Farid Hossain - senior vice-president, Abdur Rahman Khan - vice-president, Kazi Rawnak Hossain and Bakhtiar Rana - joint secretaries, Syed Abdal Ahmed - treasurer, and members - Parvin Sultana Musa Jhuma, Nurul Hasan Khan, Badiul Alam, Nurul Huda, Mostafa Kamal Majumder, Khaled Haider, Rozy Ferdous, Shehab Uddin Ahmed Nafa, Mamtaz Bilkis Banu and Farida Yasmin.
