Quality of TV programmes

Nowadays, our country has lots of TV channels. The electronic media is growing. This is obviously good for the people as they can become aware of what is happening around. But with the increase in the number of TV channels, the quality of programmes should be maintained strictly. The channels must be conscious, not to telecast any below-standard programmes just because they don't have anything else to do. Also there is a shortage of performers to make quality programmes for so many channels. So new performers should be found out to fill up the gap. Another very important thing is news. It should be flawless and against all kinds of yellow journalism. The government should be aware of the quality and standard of programmes and news. There are merits and demerits of everything in the world. Our fast growing media is not a different one.

So, to clinch the benefits from the electronic media and make it fruitful and helpful for the nation, all of us including general people, channel owners, advertisers, artists and the government should cooperate with each other.
